We are excited to welcome our new group member, Jingming Gu, who recently joined the LISMS as a PhD student. Jingming, originally from Jiangsu, China, started her PhD journey at the University of Auckland in September 2024. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Manufacture and Automation from Tongji University.
Jingming brings valuable expertise from her previous work at the China Academy of Science, where she contributed to advanced projects in the fields of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Near Field Communication (NFC). Her experience includes developing control algorithms for Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and simulating signal processing algorithms on both digital signal processing platforms and field-programmable gate arrays.
